Winegard FlatWave Antenna

Number three on our list is the Winegard FlatWave antenna. It has a similar design to our number one ranked, Novawave. Our testers do like the paper-thin antennas because they are so lightweight and discreet.

Winegard had fantastic results for our testers in more populated areas. It was easy to install, had great signal strength, and received all the major channels. Results varied a bit for our more rural testers, with some having to mess around with position a lot. Another downside for some testers was the white coax cable, although it was a positive feature for one tester who remarked that it blended with her white walls seamlessly.

Overall Winegard was a great antenna, but it is nearly $100 and didn’t take our #1 spot because of its spottiness for some of the testers.
